What did I do for Caribana this year? Fri night chilled with homegirl Mon down by the beaches... and Sat I chilled with the bf watching movies and eating pizza/wings.

What did majority of T.O do? They hit up the parade and went to clubs and fetes. Prob about 80% of people I know went to the parade, and guess what? Someone got shot during the whole thing. Am I surprised? Nope! I wouldn't say it happens every year, but it does happen pretty often. Why do you even have a gun on you? Really? You don't want people to stereo type colored folks but you're going to shoot up people? Ridic!!! Some one's stat as followed on fb "‎1 dead, 2 wounded in Caribana shooting. Always gotta be one coon-ass negroe ruining it for everybody." I can't agree more. *SMH

Have you guys been keeping up with the Casey Anthony case?! This girl is the devil I swear. If you have been keeping up with it, then you know that she was found NOT GUILTY for First- Degree Murder, Aggravated Child Abuse, and Aggravated Man Slaughter. Instead, she was found GUILTY on 4 counts of Providing False Info.

Are you shitting me? This lady killed her toddler and was found not guilty. There was word that her dad had sexually abused her as a child and that her brother tried a pass on her too... and there were also assumptions made about how there may be some incest involved concerning the daughter Caylee. They had paternity tests done and found out that the dad, brother nor Casey's fiance were Caylee's dad. No matter what Casey went through as a kid, there is never a reason to commit such a horrific crime. This b!tch used chloroform on her daughter, duct taped her mouth and nose and trashed her in the garbage. How in the world can you do that to your blood?!?! And after all the evidence they had, they let her off. Like i said... that's some devil shit!!
I bet if this was a colored folk, things would have been different, lol. You know if a colored person was on trial for this shit they would have been crazy harsh... word to OJ.

Let's talk about this stupidity that has spread world wide. I really don't think there's anything wrong with my sense of humor... although I do think "planking" is friggen dumb as ever. Don't people have anything better to do? This is boredom at it's worst.

Since I had just happened to have watched the movie how to lose a guy in 10 days and have recently experienced waaay too many mistakes made by perfectly nice guys, I decided I needed to write a small DON'T list for our male readers. So let's begin from the message above…

Men, please DON'T…

1) Start a conversation with a girl you barely know with a 'PING!'… I am now immediately annoyed by you.

2) Call me "baby" unless I AM your baby… and that rule goes for "sweetie" and any other 'cute' name you try to make up for me. I don't know you like that!

3) Change your bbm profile picture to you taking a picture of yourself without your shirt on…that is NEVER okay or cute. P.S girls like a little mystery too

4) Invite a girl you've known for one week to your uncle's famjam… does this require any further explanation???

5) Ask the girl you're interested in 25 miilllliionnn questions about herself …getting to know each other should not feel like you're getting grilled by an interview panel

6) Use cheesy ass lines like "For a girl with such a gorgeous smile, you should smile and laugh more often"…. First of all, women that are smart can pick apart a compliment from a line and secondly, if a girl isn't smiling and laughing around you, maybe there's a reason for it…YOU!

7) Ask a girl about her schedule every other day…if she really wants to go on a date with you, she'll get back to you!

Anywho... this post isn't about De La Soul. But on my way back from the De La Soul concert, i was on the train, there weren't much people on it. Besides the guy who was picking his nose sat a couple. The girl looked like she was passed out on her man's shoulder, he was kissing her up until i got on the train. I sat behind them. After she looked like she had passed out, this dude kept turning back and giving me an eye, consistently. I HATE THAT SHIT! You're here with your lady, yet you have wandering eyes. Why?!?! Is it so hard to keep your eyes to yourself. I mean there's nothing wrong with looking, but try not to do that shit when you're with your significant other. I think that shit is flat out rude and disrespectful. What the F is wrong with men? What has happened to common sense and respect? *smh

... my All- Star weekend woulda been whack!! On the real... Why does it get worst every year? I mean c'mon NBA, step up your damn game. The dunk off was absolute shit. No excitement whatsoever. I'm highly disappointed. I mean it hasn't been the best for the past few years but it's been OK. But this year... *smh. Don't know what's happening next year, maybe the bf and I will just end up celebrating Vday instead :O

... NO IT'S NOT!!!

Don't get it twisted, everyone likes some gloss on their lips. But to what extent?! I've seen females lookin' all clowned up with a whole bottle of lip gloss on their lips. Seriously... not cool! Esp females who have full lips, when you're blessed with them, there's no need to be puttin' 3 diff shades of lip gloss and having like 10 layers, i personally don't find it attractive. What ever happened to a more so natural look?
